A Partner at Legacy Wealth Management, Garrett brings more than four decades of experience to his role helping clients navigate the complexities of wealth management and financial independence. Known for his ability to listen deeply and solve intricate planning challenges, Garrett has built trusted relationships across generations. He began his career in 1982 with Bache and continued through multiple mergers and acquisitions, developing a broad and seasoned perspective along the way.
Garrett holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kentucky and is the institution’s first ever SEC wrestling champion (1975). He continued his wrestling career and studies at the University of Iowa. Coach, as his grandson’s call him, was a graduate assistant for legendary head coach, Dan Gable, and obtained a Master’s degree in Arts while in Iowa City. He is a retired CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. When the market closes, you can usually find Garrett cheering on his alma mater, where he was past president of the Varsity Letterman’s Association (The “K” Club).
